Package Design for Crystal Springs Fish Salami
Life is interesting. I’ve been a vegetarian for over twenty five years and I’ve been severely allergic to fish since I was seventeen years old, yet I’ve done design work for two unrelated yet highly unusual fish products this year. The first one was Chef Shebazz’s Fish Chili and the second is the one you see above – Crystal Springs Omega Naturals Fish Salami.
Now being allergic to fish I have no idea what it tastes like but my daughter thought it was great and it smells just like Salami should. But most importantly, from my point of view, is that it looks like what a delicious salami product should look like.
And since this kosher salami is made with fish instead of beef it qualifies as parve as well. We also have three different kosher certifications that are far more stringent and respected to those who follow strict observance than the circle K of the Organized Kashruth Laboratories of New York or the circle U from the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America.
